Allison Katz-Mayfield
Allison is a co-President of the EMS Club and an organizer of the MIT Sloan Sports Analytics Conference.
Prior to MIT Sloan, Allison worked for 4 years in New York at Analysis Group, an economic and financial consulting firm. While at Analysis Group, Allison developed statistical and econometric models to analyze cases ranging from securities litigation and class action lawsuits, to pharmaceutical pricing strategy to the securities fraud investigation of Bear Stearns.
Allison graduated from Cornell University with a BA in Psychology and a BA in Economics.

Christian Gabela
Christain is a co-President of the EMS Club, focusing on the Entertainment and Media side.
Prior to coming to MIT Sloan Christian worked in programming and production finance for the Spanish-language media company Telemundo Network Group. On the broadcasting side, he assisted senior management in assessing and resolving a broad range of issues, including the strategic acquisition of film and television licenses. He also participated in developing mid and long-term financial plans that identified content and scheduling strategies that drove audience growth while meeting the financial targets. At the studio level he managed the profitability models of new and library properties, forecasted international distribution sales, and played a key role in structuring strategic international co-production deals.
Christian earned a BBA from the University of Miami in 2007 with concentrations in Finance & Marketing.

Sriram Emani
Sriram is a co-President of the EMS Club, focusing on the Entertainment and Media side.
Born and brought up in Mumbai, Sriram Emani has been training in South-Indian (Carnatic) classical vocal music for over a decade now. He completed his undergraduate studies at the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Bombay, where he was the co-president of India’s largest student festival, Mood Indigo. He has also been a core member of the Mumbai chapter of SPICMACAY, India’s largest non-profit arts organization that promotes Indian classical music amongst youth, for over 6 years.
After graduating from IIT Bombay, Sriram worked in strategy management consulting in India and USA, and then worked for over 2 years with India’s premier performing arts centre, the National Centre for the Performing Arts (NCPA), Mumbai, as Manager – Marketing and Business Development. Sriram has been the lead vocalist for original compositions released under the Sonore Unison online record label.
