MBA Media and Entertainment Conference

MIT Sloan is one of five top business schools that come together to organize an annual MBA media and entertainment conference. The event attracts MBA students from more than 30 business schools around the world, and features the most senior of media executives as speakers and panelists. Last year’s speakers included James Schamus, CEO of Focus Features, Richard Harrington, President and CEO of The Thomson Corporation, and Robert Barkish, EVP of Operations of Viacom Inc. Panels were offered on a variety of topics including TV, movies, gaming, business development, investment banking, and more.

Next year's conference will be help on the campus of Columbia University in NYC on Friday, February 9th, 2007. MIT Sloan will be in charge of panels.
